26-28 Nov 2024 – Joint exhibition with IPSEC

The Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum will hold its 30th annual session, APRSAF-30, in Perth, Australia from 26-29 November 2024. The theme for APRSAF-30 is “Collaborating to Build a Sustainable and Responsible Regional Space Sector”.

With a 31-year history, the APRSAF has become one of the “must-attend” space forums in the Asia Pacific region. The open and flexible delivery of each APRSAF attracts a global audience, with participants from space agencies, governmental bodies, industry, academia and other space-related organizations. APRSAF-30 will again be an important opportunity for the region’s space community to come together, share and promote our space capabilities to the world.

APRSAF-30 is jointly organized by the Australia Space Agency (ASA), the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan, and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Special support provided by Western Australian Government.

Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference (IPSEC)

After a resounding success in 2023, The Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference is back again from 26-28 November 2024. The conference is aimed at bringing together leading minds, thought leaders and industry experts from around the globe for opportunities in space and cross-sector technologies and innovation.

Through interactive sessions, workshops and discussions, the conference provides a unique platform for attendees to explore the infinite possibilities of space technologies and their impact on Earth, forging collaborations that will drive innovation in various sectors.

Australian Space Education Forum

25 Nov 2024

The Andy Thomas Space Foundation will conduct the first Australian Space Education Forum in Perth in conjunction with APRSAF on Monday 25th November 2024. This event, focused on Space and STEM Education, will aim to inspire today’s students to become tomorrow’s space workforce leaders.

In the first session, primary and secondary teachers will have access to accredited professional training to improve their knowledge of space industry opportunities, as well as examining how to use the teaching of space topics as a tool to inspire students and prepare them for exciting careers in space and other STEM fields.

The second and third session will focus on students from primary school through to university level and will provide them with the opportunity to learn about career pathways in the space industry.

Join the Foundation and our passionate partner organisations to learn more about the opportunities in Australia’s growing space industry.
